Give a brief history of your nonprofit's story. Please include how and why it was established, and who has been involved.

A 501(c)(3) organization, Macy's Miracles (MM) is dedicated to improving the lives of those in the special needs community through dedicated family and local township support. Our mission is to promote the networking, education and employability of special needs individuals who desire to live a limitless future.MM began when Macy Savoy, a member of the special needs community, expressed a desire to unite those around her to support those who seek a purposeful life with employability.

With the special needs community's support and her family's vision of Macy having a productive and rewarding career, MM was created. Haley, Macy's mom, is the president and founder of MM.

What outreach or services does your nonprofit offer?

Within our Networking program, we help all of our connected special needs individuals (MM Associates) to expand their goals for the future via a mentorships program. Through frequent community events, our MM Associates build their social, communication and networking skills. The most rewarding part about MM's networking program is that we raise our MM Associates to become mentors to their peers.

Within our Education program, MM's Entrepreneurial Mentorship Program works directly with MM Associates who have aspirations to go into the areas of business, community service, and public speaking. We have worked with some of the most inspiring young men and women as they map out their limitless futures.

Within our Employability Program, MM's Entrepreneurial Mentorship Program provides community connections with peers, business owners, sponsors and mentors for employability.

What is your ultimate goal for your nonprofit?

We intend to launch our first Adaptive Center of Excellence equipped with a full multi-functional vocational/trade and adaptive sports program in 2020.
