As soon as I walked in the door and saw the big orange slide I was intrigued! I found myself in the office at the corner of Tokyo Dr. and London Rd. where I decided my business was going to change for the better! As a small businesswoman, I had never signed for office space. I was quite nervous, but my husband encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and just do it!

For those members that have been with us for a while, you know one of the BIG things our Lodgers look forward to is our ‘End of Year Awards’. We take a few minutes to recognize some of our particularly amazing members and tell you why they’re even more awesome than you may have already realized.

Believe it or not, you can learn a lot about self-belief in entrepreneurship from Vegas.

Early in my career when I was just getting started, people would occasionally ask how things were going and the answer was always the same; ‘I’m living the dream’. It was obvious to anyone looking that I wasn’t, and it was pure hyperbole for me to suggest otherwise.

However, for budding entrepreneurs and even seasoned business people, the challenge remains to find a way to live our dreams while somehow making them pay. The real winners don’t do it for the money. They do it because of the idea.
